This collection is a nostalgic evocation
of late nineteenth century rural life in England and celebrates
the times of Charlotte Watson (1818 - 1899) ‘a well loved and kindly
lady’, mother of Henry Watson.
Made from fine cream
earthenware, the detailed black decoration is fired directly into
the clear lead - free glaze giving tough, resilient, dishwasher - proof
finish.
Storage jars feature softly
shaped beechwood lids finished with black lacquer, incorporating air
tight seals for prime storage conditions. The graphic theme of the
pottery is carried through onto the packaging - each piece is
individually gift - boxed for maximum protection.
Produced with the same
craftsmanship and attention to detail that has established the current
Henry Watson terracotta range, this collection, now being produced in
Portugal to our specification, has already attracted world-wide
interest. |
